My name is Lauryn and I live in Canada working full time as a mental health therapist! I’m a home body and love anything warm and cozy. I have a passion for living a slow life, being where your feet are and following your dreams!
How did you get into needlepoint?
I found needlepoint in 2025 when I was looking for Christmas ornament DIY’s. I fell in love and started creating my own ornament patterns. I quickly discovered the HUGE range of projects like pillows, frames, bookmarks and more!
What do you enjoy most about needlepoint?
I enjoy how needlepoint makes me slow down. It truly calms me. You can also customize any design to fit your life.

Where do you get your inspiration from when designing needlepoint patterns?
Pinterest. Every single time!
How do you use Stitchly in your design workflow?
Once I have inspo. I head over to Stitchly and pick my size, then I pick my colour pallet. I alway do a rough draft with one colour and add in the detail afterwards!

What stands out compared to other tools you’ve used?
The work flow. The app is quick in comparison to others. There are also endless colours and I enjoy the ability to turn on my paint guide and track stitches.
Which feature do you find most useful?
Being able to mark the stitches I’ve already painted. This prevents me from getting lost in the painting process.
